Humana Dentist – Washington, PA
Get the Most Out of Your Humana Dental Insurance
As a Humana dentist , Dr. Bartusiak understands the price many people pay to maintain good oral health. Unfortunately, many feel it is out of reach, resulting in extreme dental problems that require costly procedures. It is one of the reasons our practice stresses preventive care. Addressing problems before they start or even in their earliest stages minimizes the potential for pricier treatments in the future. And with Humana dental insurance, patients can save big just by keeping their six-month appointments with us. To learn more about how using your Humana benefits can help you, call our office.
Humana Coverage Availability & Fees
If you are a Humana policy owner, good for you. Having a policy with this particular insurance company will help you save lots of money each time you visit our dentist’s office. Known for designing their plans based on a 100-80-50 structure, you can expect that your benefits will look something like the following:
- 80-100% preventive dental care
- 70-80% minor restorative dental care
- 50% major restorative dental care
The reason preventive dentistry is covered is that dental insurance companies like Humana would prefer that you stop a problem before it worsens. One of the best ways to do this is by maintaining regular dental checkups and cleanings with our team. Not only will you reduce your risk for serious problems in the future, but you can be sure that your smile will remain in good shape year-round, all without dipping into your pocket.
And because we are in-network with Humana dental insurance, you can expect to pay the lowest possible price based on the services you receive. Should you require restorative care of any kind, your dental insurance company will pay a portion of the total cost as long as you have met your deductible and have remaining funds as part of your annual maximum.
However, it’s not mandatory or required that you see an in-network dentist. You can opt to pursue services even if we are out of network with your insurance company. You’ll still receive the same high-quality care, but you’ll be required to pay more for the services you receive.
